The virus windows registration checker claims to do this to check whether the copy of your windows program is registered or not. Unfortunately, this is a lie. Microsoft does not solicit for sensitive information such as credit card details and the last three digits at the back of the card to verify whether computer users are using authentic or fake windows program.
