How to Send Voice Messages on Facebook

Facebook now gives its users the ability to send out voice messages. The social networking site has updated its mobile apps and now gives users more flexibility in sending out messages. You can now use the Facebook messenger in your mobile device to record voice messages for a friend instead of composing long text messages.

Here's how to use and activate Facebook voice messaging. The instruction below is intended for users of iphone and iOS devices but the same will likely work for android devices:

1. Update your Facebook messenger app.
If you haven't updated your facebook messenger app yet, do it now. The latest update will allow you to send voice messages. The update will also allow you to call your friends right through your Facebook messenger although this feature is yet to be rolled out.
