The Designte.com site is yet another unreliable website that tries to look like a domain that promotes and sells computer security software, the Antivirus Scan anti-virus protector. This fake anti virus protection software promoted by the designte virus should not be trusted. This article provides more info about this "designte" malware.


Like most other fake antivirus malwares, the Designte virus may keep redirecting -infected systems to the http://Designte.com or designte.net sites. The Designte.com hijacker does this to bombard users with ads that try to entice them to buy the Antivirus Scan license or activation key. Please refrain from downloading any links from the antivirus scan virus designte.com site or spending money to pay for anything that the www.Designte.com site offers.

Designte removal: How to remove designte.com virus
It is best to remove the infection to free your computer from the annoying browser redirects and popups.

* Reboot your computer in Safe mode with networking. Do this by restarting your PC and pressing the F8 key after hearing your computer beep on startup. Once the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe mode with networking and then press ENTER.

* Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and use this as designte virus removal tool.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a check-mark is placed next to the following:

Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

* Click Finish.
* If an update is found, Malbytes anti malware will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. Reboot your computer if prompted.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
