Disk OK

The Disk OK virus is actually a rogue computer analysis and optimization program that generates fake information so as to make people people there are problems in their computer. Scaring them will lure them into paying to activate the bogus Disk Ok program or pay for its license key.

The Disk Ok virus is installed via trojans that causes computers to show misleading error messages and security alerts. These alerts, for example, advise that there is a problem in the computer's hard drive and then prompts you to download the Disc OK program to fix the issues. Once you click on these popups and alerts, the Disk OK will be installed automatically in your computer.

Below are examples of the fake warnings that the Disk OK malware generates:

Read time of hard drive clusters less than 500 ms
32% of HDD space is unreadable
Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocation table
GPU RAM temperature is critically high. Urgent RAM memory optimization is required to prevent system crash
Drive C initializing error
Ram Temperature is 83 C. Optimization is required for normal operation.
Hard drive doesn't respond to system commands
Data Safety Problem. System integrity is at risk.
Registry Error - Critical Error
