The domain eclipseantivirus.com promotes yet another rogue software, the fake eclipse av. The new eclipse antivirus is marketed as a faster and smarter security tool but beware, this is another malicious and non working software.

Make sure that you do not purchase anything promoted by the eclispeantivirus.com such as the fake eclipse antivirus. Symptoms or characteristics of this malware include browser hijacking and popups. Here's how to remove fake eclipse virus from your PC:



* Reboot your computer in Safe mode with networking. Do this by restarting your PC and pressing the F8 key after hearing your computer beep on startup. Once the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe mode with networking and then press ENTER.

* Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a check-mark is placed next to the following:

Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

* Click Finish.
* If an update is found, Malbytes anti malware will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. Reboot your computer if prompted.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad and the fakeeclipseantivirus should now be removed.
