The Anti VPC site may look like a legitimate anti virus protection vendor site but antivpc is actually a malicious domain promoting one of the fake virus and spyware protection softwares, the Virus Protector Fake AV.

Fake antiviruses generally make infected PC's display popups and fake system scans. They may also prevent you from visiting other sites. In the case of the antivpc virus, you may only be able to visit this particular Antivpc.com site so that when you want to remove antivpc malaware from your PC, it can prevent you from searching for Antivpc.com removal tools that you can use to get rid of Antivpc.com infection. Do not buy the Virus Protector software that may be offered to you.
