DeadEye Virus

This article provides information about the "Dead Eye Virus".

The DeadEye virus aka the dead eye malware is a malicious program that attempts to make computer users believe it can increase the performance of their computer and may coerce them into purchasing its "full version".

Deadeye downloads the JRE.exe file. This "deadeye virus" is identified as a rogue antivirus program and removing deadeye should be considered.

You may want to use Malbytes anti malware to get rid of deadeye.


* Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a check-mark is placed next to the following:

Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
Launch Malwarbytes’ Anti-Malware

* Click Finish.
* If an update is found, Malbytes anti malware will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. Reboot your computer if prompted.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. The deadeye virus should now be gone.
