The Fast Antivirus virus (fastantivirus2011.exe) is a clone of a growing number of fake antiviruses that victimize non suspecting computer users. Examples of rogue antiviruses, also known as scarewares include the windows armature master and the security protection virus.

* Reboot your computer in Safe mode with networking. Do this by restarting your PC and pressing the F8 key after hearing your computer beep on startup. Once the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe mode with networking and then press ENTER.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. Reboot your computer if prompted.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. The fast antivirus 2011.exe virus should now be removed.
