The site claims that Ultimate Guard Protect and Secure is a computer security software that can provide you with the ultimate protection for the things that you do online such as surfing, shopping and banking. Ultimate Guard software is also being promoted as a program that provides social networking protection for users of sites such as facebook.

Unfortunately, from the very looks of the website promoting this software, Ultimate-guard is yet another fake antivirus, a clone of fake softwares that include the likes of the rogue Antivirus Action Ultimate. Rogue security tools are known to mimic the characteristics and even images of legitimate antiviruses and while the ultimate guard virus may appear as a legitimate software, it was designed to rip money from people. Ultimate Guard will not protect your computer from security threats.

Ultimate Guard Removal: How to remove Ultimate Guard virus
* Reboot your computer in Safe mode with networking. Do this by restarting your PC and pressing the F8 key after hearing your computer beep on startup. Once the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe mode with networking and then press ENTER.

* Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a check-mark is placed next to the following:

* Click Finish.

* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
