Scammers have released yet again a program that can trick users into paying for anything of no value, a malware that causes computers to show a fake firefox security alert.
This fake firefox security alert may show fake quick scan system in your PC and you may be informed that the w32.Nimba, Advware.hotbar, trojan horce irc/backdoor/sdbot4.FRV and w95/elkern f-secure and other viruses are in your PC and there are a number of identified infected objects in your system.
"Scanning your system is currently on, please wait until the end. Your system affected by numerous virus attacks. Mozilla Firefox recommends you to install proper software to protect your computer. "
You will then advised to click protection button to erase the threats. Do not click the start protection button and do not buy anything adverted to you. This is a scam.
